I have been practicing dentistry since 1997 and received my dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. I further continued my study in pediatric dentistry and completed my specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Rutgers University in New Jersey. I am board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and have been treating patients in the Japanese community since 1998 in the NY area.
I live in Westchester with my wife and two daughters and grew up in Queens, NY.
When I was a child, I developed a great interest in science and attended Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan. Dentistry has been of great interest to me since childhood.
My mother is a pediatrician and had influenced me greatly to obtain a career in children’s healthcare . As a board certified Pediatric Dentist, I do my best to help children to achieve and maintain dental health from age one. I also try my best to give my patients a positive dental experience and positive attitude about dental health by teaching them during their regular checkups.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and studying the Japanese language.
I believe that patience, kindness, and understanding is very important in treating children and I will do my best for your children and your family.

Dr. Hyun K. Park

Orthodontics is a combination of artistry, hands-on work, and the use of physics, engineering, science, and the latest technologies, which come together to create amazing results. I love the challenges of developing specific treatment paths for my patients, because each patient has unique needs and it’s my job to ensure that the treatment is right for them.
For me, being an orthodontist is incredibly rewarding because of the unique nature of the profession. Orthodontics not only improves a patient’s smile aesthetics with a corresponding increase in their self-confidence, but it also improves the functionality of their bite, which leads to better body health. As an orthodontist, I am able to bring about positive changes in the lives of my patients.
